Su una macchina virtuale VMware, anche subito dopo l’installazione probabilmente troverete il file syslog pieno di questi errori

Il problema è risolvibile modificando la configurazione del servizio multipathd, ed in particolare aggiungendo le seguenti righe al file /etc/multipath.conf
blacklist {
device {
vendor "VMware"
product "Virtual disk"
}
}
successivamente riavviare il servizio
service /etc/init.d/multipath-tools restart
